JFK Tribute
A Place in Time · A Place in History
The Hilton Fort Worth is the former Hotel Texas, where President John F. Kennedy and the First Lady stayed on November 21, 1963. The next morning, after a speech in the hotel's ballroom, the President's motorcade departed, taking with it the final moments of a more innocent America.
The JFK Tribute is located directly across from Hilton Fort Worth, celebrate the 50th Anniversary where then President John F. Kennedy gave his final public address to an adoring Fort Worth crowd.
Fort Worth Stockyards
Attractions · Shopping · Entertainment · Dining
Located only 3 miles from our hotel and you can ride Molly The Trolley to get you there.
The FW Stockyards consists of mainly of entertainment and shopping venues that capitalize on the "Cowtown" image of Fort Worth. Home to the famous Boot Making, fine Western Wear and a Saloon where customers "can “belly up” to the bar, relax and have a cold beer while in the Stockyards; just like they did in the days of the big cattle drives", as they shop around the store. The city of Fort Worth is often referred to as "Where the West Begins."
Vintage Flying Museum
A very nice museum located at the south end of the Fort Worth Meacham International Airport. They have about a dozen aircraft housed in a WWII B-29 Hanger. The centerpiece of the collection is a Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress. They have other wartime aircraft to also enjoy including an Army UH-1 Huey on display.
Sundance Square
Shopping & Entertainment
Sundance Square is the name of this 35-block commercial, residential, entertainment and retail district in downtown Fort Worth, Texas. Named after the Sundance Kid in western folklore, it is a popular place for nightlife and entertainment in Fort Worth. The area includes numerous hotels, restaurants, bars, shops, museums, clubs, movie theatres, performing arts, concerts and festivals throughout the year. Our hotel is located in Sundance Square.
George W. Bush
Presidential Center
The GWB Presidential Center is a complex that includes former President George W. Bush's presidential library and museum, the George W. Bush Policy Institute, and the offices of the George W. Bush Foundation. It is located on the campus of Southern Methodist University (SMU) in University Park, Texas, near Dallas.
You can take the Trinity Railway Express to Dallas.
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza
The building is located on the sixth floor of the Dallas County Administration Building (formerly the Texas School Book Depository) in downtown Dallas, Texas, overlooking Dealey Plaza at the intersection of Elm and Houston Streets. The museum examines the life, times, death, and legacy of President John F. Kennedy, and is located at the very spot from which Lee Harvey Oswald shot and killed the President on November 22, 1963.
The museum's exhibition area uses historic films, photographs, artifacts and interpretive displays to document the events of the assassination, the reports by government investigations that followed, and the historical legacy of the national tragedy.
Tour the Legend
AT&T Stadium
While also being the home turf of the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium also offers a host of other sights to see. Within these walls you’ll find art, a pro shop, and the venerable locker rooms; you'll also be able to stretch your legs out on the hallowed field! Whether you’re a Cowboys fan through and through or you’re simply looking to take in some stunning architecture, a tour of AT&T stadium should fit right in on your Dallas trip plan.
Self-Guided Tours give fans access to the most popular areas of AT&T Stadium. You'll start your Self-Guided tour in the AT&T Stadium Pro Shop. Self-guided tours give you access to the field, the Cowboys and Cheerleaders locker rooms, the Miller Lite Club and the post-game interview room. Our knowledgeable Tour Ambassadors are stationed in each area to provide you with information and answer your questions about the stadium. On the field, we invite you to throw passes, run around and take pictures at your leisure. We have a photo station at midfield for fans to get their picture taken on our famous star.
